The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says it is strategising to wrestle power from the People’s Democratic party in 2023. This is as the party has suffered serious setbacks in the state.
APC Caretaker Committee Chairman in Obior/Akpor Council, Godwin Wobo, said this during a Sensitization rally in the area.
He said the party will do everything humanly possible to win the Governoship and National Assembly elections in 2023.
Mr Godwin also said zoning the party’s Governoship ticket to the riverine area was a step in the right direction.
He said since Melford Okilo’s administration to the current administration, the governorship has been rotated between upland and riverine areas.
He called on Rivers people to register and revalidate their membership of the party to ensure they occupy Brick House come 2023.
