Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree has said that members of the party will decide who emerges governorship flagbearer of the party.
Speaking to his supporters during a rally at Polo Club in Port Harcourt, yesterday, Ojukaye said the party’s governorship candidate will not emerge through consensus.
According to him, his governorship ambition is intact, adding that nothing can stop him from contesting the primaries.
He revealed that some leaders of the party only met and submitted the name of a particular aspirant to the minister of transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi for endorsement.
He urged party members to brace up for the challenges ahead, noting that power belongs to the people.
Recall that Ojukaye had in a statement said no amount of force can stop the will of the people.
