The Isaac Ogbobula led faction of the All Progress Congress in Rivers State, has reacted to the Appeal Court ruling on its membership and revalidation exercise.
The Appeal Court in its ruling yesterday, rejected the interim injunction of a lower court which restrained the party from conducting its Registration and revalidation exercise.
Spokesperson of the factional group, Ogbonna Nwuke in a statement yesterday, said the ruling has removed the stumbling block stopping the party from going ahead with the exercise in the state.
He described the ruling as a strong moral victory for the party in the state, as he urged members to go ahead and revalidate their membership.
Meanwhile, lawyers to the two factions have been giving different interpretation to the ruling of the Appeal Court.
