The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to investigate officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, who conducted elections in Asari Toru Local Government Area.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Darlington Nwauju disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
He also called on the Department of State Security and the Inspector General of Police to launch an investigation into the activities of the INEC officials especially in Constituency 11.
Also, House of Assembly candidate for Constituency 2, Okorinama West popularly known as ‘Shaggy’ had said that he won last saturday’s election and not candidate of the PDP.
He said results from polling units showed that he won the election, accusing the PDP and INEC of changing the results.
