The Accord Party in Rivers State says it suspended campaigns in the state to attend to flood victims because they care for them.
Chairman of the party in the state, Nnanna Onyekwere disclosed this during the inauguration of the party’s campaign council in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
“We suspended our campaign to attend to flood victims because we care for them,” he said.
He stated that the party is on course to win next year’s elections and transform the state for good.
Governorship candidate of the party, Dumo Lulu Briggs on his part also said Accord party will win next year’s election in the state.
According to him, the 200,000 Special Advisers appointed by Gov. Wike is inconsequential, noting that even if the governor appoints one million Special Advisers, it is still inconsequential.
The campaign council which was inaugurated Today, is made up of 207 members. The members include: Elder statesman, Anabs Sara Igbe, Nollywood Actors; Sam Dede and Ibinabi Fiberesima, Karl Chinedu Uchegbu, Opunabo Inkotariah , Monalisa Chinda and Dagogo Ezekiel Hart amongst others.
