The African Action Congress in Rivers State has expelled its governorship candidate in the just concluded elections, Joseph Obele over alleged anti-party activities in accordance with Section 81, sub-sections 2 and 3 of the party’s constitution.
Ken Henshaw, Chairman of the State Steering Committee, AAC, made this known in a written letter dated March 24 2023.
The party’s House of Assembly candidate for Tai Constituency in the state, Kingsley Dimkpa was also expelled over anti-party conducts.
The party accused the candidates of breaching some vital provisions of the party’s constitution in their responses to the queries issued to them.
