The Rivers State Government says the 5000 Civil Service jobs will be ready before December 2021.
State Commissioner for Youths, Prince Ohia, in a statement on Monday, said plans are underway to create a market scheme which will generate more employment for Rivers youths.
He said the scheme will create an avenue for unemployed innovative youths to meet and interact with entrepreneurs and captains of industries for proper grooming.
Ohia, noted that the ministry would soon embark on entrepreneurship and skill trainings for youths of the state.
He called on those in the private sector to collaborate with the government at all levels to develop workable environment for the betterment of youths in the state.
