Accord Party House of Assembly candidate for ONELGA constituency 11, Engr. Chukwudi Ogbonna who was kidnapped and released few days ago has accused the PDP candidate of hijacking materials for saturday’s election.
Ogbonna, in a statement yesterday, said the PDP candidate stormed various polling units in the area with suspected thugs and carted away materials; including BVAS and result sheets.
He said, when he tried to stop him, the PDP flagbearer threatened to kill him or anybody who tries to stop him.
He declared that he was ready to die for the election, accusing the PDP candidate of being behind his abduction few days to the election.
“I am a candidate of Accord party, let me die for the PDP candidate that just sent people to kidnap me. I came out from the kidnapping place on Monday, for this same man. I want to die. I am ready to die. Come and kill me. Media people take it. I want to die,” he said.
