Stakeholders in Rivers State have called on the State Police Command to properly investigate the alleged rape incident involving a Police Officer, Saliyu Kazim and a 17-year-old girl.

The girl in a chat with journalists accused the officer of raping her three times in a month while filming the act.

She said the suspect has been threatening her after reporting the incident which occurred in March to the Police.

The girl explained that she and her friend met the officer while job hunting, and he promised to help them secure a job.

She stated that the officer offered them his ATM card to go and get food, which they did and returned the card to him.

She also said the officer accused them of stealing; ordered them to take off their clothes and raped them both.

When contacted by journalists, the officer said the girls obliged to the act. He accused them of stealing his money.

The Police was yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report.
