Spokesperson of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Solomon Lenu has criticized the road walk by some youths yesterday to commend the state Governor for his achievements in the state.
Some Rivers youths led by Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo yesterday, marched along major roads in Port Harcourt, thanking Wike for what they described as his giant strides in the state.
Lenu, in a chat with journalists described the development as unfortunate, and called on Rivers youths to be mindful of political merchants who rent crowd for politicians.
He said as the elections draw closer, youths should also be mindful of deceitful packages by politicians to lure them into supporting their selfish ambitions.
He had in a statement called on Rivers youths to ensure that they elect credible leaders who have their interest at heart.
