Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill has described the chieftaincy titles conferred on Governor, Nyesom Wike and the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi over the weekend as a waste of resources.
Enefaa, in a statement over the weekend, said the resources spent in acquiring those titles is enough to build a world class fire service station to fight fire in Rivers State.
He also said the money would be enough to provide motorized cover boats, safety gadgets and provide emergency medical personnel at all sea travel routes in Rivers State.
“The Money That Was Spent At Daura And Abalama Today, Is Enough To Build World Class Fire Service Station To Fight Fire In Rivers State,” he said.
“Do You Know That The Money Wasted By The Two Political Title Collectors And Their Friends, Can Provide Motorized Cover Boats, Safety Gadgets And Emergency Medical Personnel At All Sea Travel Routes In Rivers State?” he added.
