The Rivers Civil Society Organisations has called on the media in the state to cover and report happenings in Oyigbo Local Government Area in an objective manner.
Chairman of the organisation in the state, Enefaa Georgewill made the call in a statement on his social media handle yesterday.
Georgewill who has been outspoken over the current happenings in Oyigbo said “Media In Rivers State Should Investigate What Is Happening In Oyigbo And Be Bold To Report It.”
He had earlier raised an alarm over alleged human rights abuses by military personnel in the area.
