The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, has announced results of Saturday’s local government election in the State, with the People’s Democratic Party, winning all the Chairmanship and Councilorship seats.
Chairman of RSIEC, while announcing the results on Sunday, said the PDP scored the highest number of votes.
He said the Commission kept to their promise of a free, fair and credible poll, while stating that they did their best.
Omereji Commended critical stakeholders, such as: the media, security agencies, political parties and election observers for the success of the election.
