A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to ensure the arrest of the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State, SIM Fubara.
Eze in a statement said Governor, Wike would have released Fubara to the EFCC, instead of empowering supporters of the party to beat up officials of the commission.
According to him, Wike made SIM the Governorship candidate of the party to cover all he has looted.
He also described the threat by Wike to prosecute Amaechi, Tonye Cole and others over alleged N76B Proceed From Sale of Rivers assets, as a ploy carefully crafted by the Governor to divert attention and conceal the careless misappropriation of N345B and N20B over his elusive presidential and VP Dreams.
He called on Rivers people to elect Tonye Cole as Governor of the state, and other candidates of the party in all elective positions.
