Fast rising Nigerian rapper Odumodu Black has revealed that he was contacted to perform at the #RenewedHopeConcert by the youth wing of the All Progressives Congress but rejected the offer.
The ‘Declan Rice’ crooner made this known in a post on his official Instagram handle.
“They tried to get me to perform at the inauguration. They did not do their research,” he said.
The ‘Renewed Hope Concert’, took place on the 25th of May, 2023, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja. It featured prominent and trending music and entertainment artistes from across the country.
The concert was planned for youths of the country who contributed to the party’s victory and the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last presidential election.
