The Executive Chairman of Etche local government area, Hon. Dr. Obinna Anyanwu has promised to sustain the fight against kidnapping in the area.
Anyanwu, disclosed this in a statement through his media aide Robinson Olluor while commending security operatives for the raiding of kidnappers hideout and killing of two suspected kidnappers in a forest in Igbo-Etche few days ago.
According to him, the officers showed resillence and professionalism when they raided the hideouts, and promised to intensify surveillance in and around the LGA.
He also said that his administration is committed to ensuring adequate protection of life and property and urged residents of the area to go about their normal business.
The Council chair, promised to sustain the provision of all necessary support to security operatives to aid in the discharge of their duties.
