The Management of the Rivers State College of Health Sciences and Technology has reacted to today’s protest by students of the institution.
Some students of the school had taken to the streets of Port Harcourt, to protest against what they described as neglect by the state government and leadership of the school, despite paying huge academic fees.
Provost of the institution, Prof. Franklin Nlerum in a chat with journalists Today, said though they are having some challenges in the school, the students would not have gone about it the way they did.
He confirmed that the institution is battling shortage of classrooms and epileptic power supply among other issues.
Nlerum also confirmed that the institution is doing everything within its power to address some of the challenges.
