The Rivers State Police Command has allegedly stopped Students of the State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology from continuing their protest.
The Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday had reportedly sent Senior officers to the school, who gathered the students and advised them to stop the protest on Monday.
Meanwhile, President of the National Association of Nigerian Students in the school, George Brown has blasted the management of the school for preventing students from exercising their constitutional rights.
He alleged that the management on Monday, locked the gate of the school to prevent students from protesting.
Brown, also accused them of paying deaf ears to their demands, despite paying huge academic fees.
