The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, says Prophet U.O Miracle and Glorious Abel, a staff with the Rivers State Television appeared before the Commissioner of Police monitoring unit, Today.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill in a statement said the security man accused of fighting with Abel was also in attendance, and denied having any issues with his colleague.
According to him, the cleric is begging for in-house settlement to end the matter.
He called on the Police to go ahead and prosecute the cleric for assaulting the journalist, and urged the IPO in charge of the case to visit the station for on the spot investigation.
