PDP Chieftain and Elder statesman, Prince Emma Anyanwu JP. has urged and pleaded with the people of Rivers state to ignore the attack by Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, leader of MASSOB on Gov. Wike.
Emma Anyanwu in an online video, said Ralph’s outburst is a reminder of the I’ll treatment melted out to Rivers people by the Igbo’s few years ago. He described Uwazuruike as a fugitive and an attention seeker who is not speaking or acting on behalf of the Igbo people.
The elder statesman who commended the actions of Wike for standing-up to protect the laws of the state, said Rivers people are angry over Ralph’s statement. He noted that the laws governing the state are that of the State Assembly and not that of IMO state, where Uwazuruike hails from.
Anyanwu who noted that Gov. Wike is serving the actions of his people, said no right thinking Rivers person will condemn his actions. He declared that the punishment melted out to defaulters of the directives of the government are in accordance with the laws of the land.
Ralph Uwazuruike had in a viral video blasted the state governor for demolishing two hotels in Eleme few days ago. This was for allegedly disobeying the government’s directives on the closure of all hotels in the state. In the said video, Ralph used abusive words on the governor, describing him as a mad man, due to his actions. The video has so far been generating reactions from many stakekeholders in Rivers State.
