NIGRINFO FM Media personality, Kofi Bartels has alleged that his friend and the wife lost their baby on their way to the hospital in Port Harcourt, today. This is after some officers of the Rivers State police command detained them because they had no exemption letter from the state Government.

The police officers were acting based on the state government’s directives to ensure total compliance with the lockdown imposed in some areas of the state. The lockdown order which restricts vehicular and human movement except with an exemption letter from the government, has seen the arrest of so many defaulters.
Bartels confirmed that by the time the husband and wife were released by the officers they had already lost the baby. This was confirmed after they got to the hospital.
The OAP who blamed the tragedy on defects in the state government’s lockdown directives, said everybody cannot get to the governor for clearance.
