Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has revealed that the concession agreements for Port Harcourt International Airport are in their final stage.
Keyamo made the disclosure on Monday during a discussion on X hosted by the National Orientation Agency (NOA). He noted that while airports in Lagos, Abuja, and Kano generate significant revenue, many other airports across the country continue to operate at a loss.
The minister’s comments signal a major step toward the concession of Port Harcourt airport, aimed at boosting its efficiency and financial sustainability.
