A forty-one-year-old man identified as Ovundah Wiche who allegedly stabbed his father to death is currently been investigated by the Rivers State Police Command.
The incident happened on Wednesday at Ndudor Community in Choba, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, after an argument between the man and his father.
Grace Iringi-Koko, Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, disclosed this in a statement while confirming the arrest of the suspect.
According to her the circumstances surrounding the killing cannot be ascertained at the time of confirming the incident, but that the deceased was stabbed in the neck.
Mr Wiche who is believed to be mentally deranged allegedly stabbed his father multiple times with a knife after an argument, according to an eyewitness.
