The Rivers State Police Command, says it has arrested an alleged serial rapist, Favour lbama who specializes in luring women to hotels, through social media to drug and rape them, and also steal their belongings.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this to Journalists in Port Harcourt, while the suspect was being paraded, yesterday.
He said the suspect was arrested, after one of the girls he had raped and stolen from, spotted him in a supermarket at Ada-George in Obio/Akpor LGA.
The lady in a chat with Journalists alleged that the suspect drugged and raped her, after she met him in a hotel few weeks ago.
Omoni said investigation is currently ongoing, as justice will be served. He noted that the management of the hotel where the incident occurred will be dealt with for complicity.
Meanwhile, the suspect and his family members, have denied the accusation.
