The Caretaker Committee Chairman of PHALGA, Hon. Ezebunwo Ichemati on Monday, commissioned a-20 room public toilet facility built by the Atubokiki’s family in Ozuboko Community, Ward 20, Port Harcourt Local Government Area.
Chidozie Victor Anuebunwa – Chief Press Secretary, Port Harcourt City Local Government, made this known in a statement.
He said, the Mayor who was represented by the Supervisor for Health in the Council, Mrs Chinwe Ede commended the Atubokiki family for the initiative to have embarked and executed the project of building the public toilet facilities which will improve the cleanliness and health of the residents.
“As a government, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Atubuokiri for their invaluable contribution to this community. The initiative to construct public toilet facilities is a testament to their commitment towards improving the lives of our residents. This new toilet facility will not only provide a much-needed service, but will also contribute to the overall cleanliness and health of our neighbourhood. It is a tangible example of how private citizens can make a significant difference in the lives of others as a community.
“We are particularly grateful for the thoughtfulness and care that went into the design and construction of this facility. It is clear that Atubokiki has considered the needs and preferences of our community members, ensuring that the facility is both functional and accessible to all. We will continue to appreciate sacrifices such as this, and we encourage others to look into the community and make their positive contributions for the betterment of humanity,” he said
