The Port Harcourt Correctional Centre, has reacted to the death of a female prophetess, Edna Nworleru recently sentenced to life imprisonment for preparing a substance that killed a member’s lover.
Spokesperson of the Centre, Juliet Ofoni in a chat with journalists yesterday, said Edna died of protracted ailments.
She said the lady died while on admission in a hospital due to complications from peptic ulcer and low blood pressure, according to the doctor.
The prophetess was last Thursday sentenced to life in prison by a Court in Rivers for the crime.
