The Management of Port Harcourt City Mall has announced that farmers and vendors are expected to supply perishable goods this morning. This is because they sold all their perishables to customers before the lockdown.
Manager of the mall, Chioma Okorie made this known in a chat with Journalists yesterday in Port Harcourt.
The Manager who said they have vendors who deliver goods to them, noted that the time is short as whatever the vendors supply is what they will sell. Our staff we be in the malls before 6:00AM to attend to customers, Chioma stated.
On the issue of crowd control in the mall, the Manager said everybody cannot enter at once as only one gate will be left open for customers.
Okorie also said only 100 persons will be allowed into the mall at a time, for persons going to other places while only 50 persons will be allowed into Spar.
The mall is expected to experience uncontrollable crowd today as residents fight to stuck-up food and other items. This is due to the expected lockdown in the city on Thursday.
