The Federal Government has reacted to the increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit to N162 per litre in the country.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed during a press conference in Abuja, on Monday said the price of PMS in the country remains the cheapest in Africa despite the increase.

“In spite of the recent increase in the price of fuel to N162 per litre, petrol prices in Nigeria remain the lowest in the West/Central African sub-regions,” Lai said.
