The Rivers State Police Command says the officer who allegedly shot dead a father of three, Alafuro Peterside will be charged to court after investigation.
The state commissioner of Police, Emeka Polycarp Nwonyi disclosed this in a statement Today.
According to him, the matter is currently being investigated and that they will ensure justice is served.
The officer allegedly shot dead Alafuro when he had gone out with his wife and three children at the Elekahia axis of Port Harcourt few days ago.
