Head of the Civil Service in Rivers State, Rufus Godwin has reacted to claims by the South South Youth Initiative that workers and pensioners in the state, are being owed.

He explained that the claims by the group are mere antics to try and embarrass the government and distract the governor from his vision.
Rufus, also revealed that the state government pays salaries first before any other thing, and urged members of the public to ignore the claims.
Imeabe, had during the briefing called on Gov. Wike to put his presidential ambition on hold till he fulfills his campaign promises to Rivers people.
He accused Wike of failing to pay gratuities, pension, and provide jobs for the teeming Rivers youths since he assumed office 7 years ago.
