Members of the Governor, Nyesom Wike’s group in the People’s Democratic Party, has insisted that National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu must resign his position.
The group made this known through one of its leaders, Bode George after a meeting on Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
The group also vowed not to play any role in the campaign of its Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The group also said for them to rescind their decision, Ayu must go as the two positions cannot be occupied by the North.
