Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Hon. Darlington Nwauju has reacted to the attack on supporters of Atiku Abubakar in Omuma local government area of Rivers State by hoodlums.
Nwauju in a statement Today called for justice for those attacked while pasting posters of the PDP presidential candidate on Sunday.
According to him, one of the Legacies of Gov. Nyesom Wike is Empowering scoundrels adding that evil thrives when good men keep quiet.
He wondered while anybody would be attacked for advertising the image of his/her preferred candidate.
His statement reads,
One of Gov Wike’s legacies for an entire LGA is empowering scoundrels…. evil thrives when good men keep quiet!
What part of our laws forbid anybody in Nigeria from advertising the image of his/her preferred candidate(s)?
CP Effiong Okon, I want to watch you sweep this under the carpet.
