Former Spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party, Kola Ologbondiyan has said that Governor, Nyesom Wike is not considering leaving the party, as he is a true party man.
Ologbondiyan during an interview on Arise TV Today, said the Rivers State Governor has love and passion for the PDP.
According to him Wike has the right to complain if he believes that the party is heading in the wrong direction, and must be listened to.
He also revealed that Gov. Wike almost suffered a heart attack when the former House of Reps Speaker, Yakubu Dogara defefected from the PDP to the APC, due to his love for the party.
Part of his statement reads,
I always tell people about this. When the former Speaker, Honourable Yakubu Dogara left the Peoples Democratic Party, Governor Wike nearly suffered heart-attack. That is love, that is passion for your political party.
Governor Wike declared that notwithstanding whosoever emerges as the candidate, he remains a party man. But you cannot see a man who has a complain and you say he shouldn’t complain.
People who are saying that Governor Wike will leave the party I do not believe they have the understanding of Governor Wike.
