The People’s Democratic Party has reacted to the visit of dignitaries from different political parties to the Rivers State Governor, Barr, Nyesom Wike.
National publicity secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, in a statement said there was no crisis in the party.
According to him, Wike is a leader in the party and that it is normal if anyone goes to visit him.
“We should be concerned about the country, there’s no crisis in the PDP and if anybody goes to visit Wike, it’s normal, he is a leader in this party. In this party, we don’t work with allegations, we work with facts. PDP is strong and we’re ready for the election,” he said.
Recall that dignitaries like Peter Obi, Godsday Orubebe, Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State had visited Gov. Wike at his private residence.
