Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has dismissed reports making the rounds that he dragged H.E. Atiku Abubakar to court over the Presidential primary of the People’s Democratic Party.
Speaking, during the Commissioning of the newly built Assembly quarters in Port Harcourt on Friday, by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, he accused the Atiku’s camp of being behind the suit.
He added that if he had any reason to go to court he would have gone long before now.
The Governor stated that he is busy delivering the dividends of democracy to Rivers people to ensure that the party wins the forthcoming election
He urged Atiku to caution his men who are not interested in his victory, adding that nobody should call his name if the party loses the 2023 presidential election.
Gbajabiamila, on his part commended the governor for his developmental strides, noting that he has done well for people of the state.
