Pastor Chris: FG guidelines on public gathering, “Wicked”

Nigeria/International News

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Founder of Christ Embassy who had alleged that the coronavirus pandemic was linked to the 5G technology, has taken another swipe at church leaders for obeying the COVID-19 ban on religious gatherings by the government.

Pastor Chris who has been critical of church leaders for supporting and obeying the directives of the government on religious gatherings, during a service Today, stated that the guidelines were initiated to muzzle the body of Christ.

Oyakhilome  described the guidelines as “wicked”, as what church leaders were inadvertently planning is “persecution of Christians”.

Some of the guidelines, according to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), include wearing of face masks, suspension of Holy Communion, social distancing and body temperature check, among others.

The federal government had placed a ban on religious gatherings to limit the spread of COVID-19 which is currently ravaging the world. Few weeks ago the ban was relaxed as guidelines were put in place for churches to obey.
