The Andoni Legislative Assembly has passed a law stopping past Chairmen and Vice Chairmen from receiving pension.
Leader of the Assembly, Sheila Nte disclosed this after plenary, Today.
She said with the new law, no former Chairman, Vice chairman Secretary of Council and past Chief of staff will be entitled to any kind of benefit from the council.
The previous bye law which is now repealed was passed in 2013 to provide for a monthly pension for past officials.
