The Federal government of Nigeria has announced that passengers are to pay for COVID-19 tests before travelling and on arrival. This is as international flight resumes on August 29.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika made this known during the media briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID19, yesterday Monday.
He said, passengers on international flights will need to provide a negative COVID-19 test in order to board and pay for another test after they arrive in Nigeria.
Sirika also stated that international flights resumption will first commence at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
