Passengers Stranded At PH Airport as Workers Embark on Industrial Action

Staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, NAHCO have embarked on an indefinite strike action leaving passengers stranded at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.

Secretary of NAHCO, Felix Owerfe in a statement Today, said they want salaries of workers increased, implementation of their new condition of service and an end to the casualization of staff.

He stated that they must fight for their rights, and that the strike will continue until its national leadership directs them to stop.

The strike has grounded activities at the airport.
