Some stakeholders of Igbo nationality in Rivers State have criticized the South-East Governors and leaders that paid a courtesy visit to Governor Nyesom Wike at Government House Port Harcourt on Sunday.
The leaders had visited the governor to ascertain the authenticity of the rumors making the rounds that Igbos were massacred on his orders at Oyigbo during the curfew imposed in the area.
The stakeholders during a call-in programme on one of the radio stations in Port Harcourt today said, the leaders would have visited Oyigbo to see things for themselves, other than visiting Government House alone.
They accused the leaders of not standing for the people of the region and maintained that several Igbos were killed during the military invasion.
