Over 30 comedians based in Port Harcourt over the weekend gave their lives to Christ.
This was during a hangout with Pastor, George Izunwa of Gateway International Church.
The cleric in a statement advised members of the public to pray for them, mark those with godly values & support them, attend their shows, advertise them and be there for them adding that they help in medicating the pain of Nigeria.
His statement reads,
Over the weekend I had an amazing time hanging out with over 160 entertainment industry icons in PH City.
We joked, Prayed, Taught, Listened, Counseled, & prayed again & when we made a salvation call, over 30 of them made decisions for Jesus Christ!
Pls pray for them. Mark those with godly values & support them. Attend their shows. Advertise them. Be there for them. They help in medicating the pain of Nigeria.
And believe me, these comedians are extraordinary & most importantly, they have a passion to make PortHarcourt a leading hub for creatives in Nigeria & around the world. Refuse to label them negative.
