The Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Council has postponed the commissioning of a Mobile Police Post and the flag-off ceremony for the remodelling of the Nkoro Police Division.
The announcement was contained in a public notice signed by Chairman of council, Hon. James A. James, Esq.
The ceremonies, earlier scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2026, have been postponed, with a new date to be communicated to the public in due course.
The committee apologised for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and appreciated the understanding and cooperation of residents of Opobo/Nkoro and the general public.
The ceremonies are part of activities marking the administration’s first anniversary in office, during which the Chairman has been commissioning projects.
