Omega Power Ministries (OPM) says it has hired the services of 20 lawyers to commence legal services for about 54 inmates awaiting trial at the Port Harcourt correctional center.
Founder and General Overseer of the faith based organisation, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere,made this known to journalists yesterday after the release of an inmate.
He said many inmates are behind bars because they do not have anyone to sign as sureties.
He noted that those released will be rehabilitated at the church rehabilitation center in Aluu.
