The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has warned beneficiaries who received assistance funded through tithes paid by church members but have refused to pay their own tithes after receiving help.
The cleric, in a statement on Sunday, warned that those who benefited from the church’s tithes but were unwilling to contribute towards helping others could soon face what he described as a visit from Satan.
“If tithe from OPM was used to lift u up and now u have refused to pay tithe in OPM so others can be lifted, SATAN WIL SOON VISIT U,” he said.
Apostle Chinyere is known for his philanthropic activities through Omega Power Ministries, which include providing free education, healthcare services and overseas trips for beneficiaries.
These initiatives have attracted praise and recognition from individuals within and outside Nigeria.
The cleric’s latest warning appears to be directed at beneficiaries who received assistance through the church’s charitable programmes but have allegedly failed to contribute their own tithes to support similar interventions for others.
