OPM Football Club held a solidarity march in support of General Overseer of the church, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere following negative reports about his humanitarian works.
Members of the team gathered at their training pitch at Rumueme Girls Secondary School today, carrying placards with inscriptions, like “I stand with Daddy, Happy Boys are Ungrateful,” Gratitude cost nothing, media respect the anointing” and lots more.
A member of the team, U.B Japhet in a chat with our correspondent urged those peddling what he described as false rumor about the cleric to desist from the act and let him be.
He described the accusations from “Happy Boys” as false describing them as being ungrateful.
He also described the cleric as an angel in human form sent by God to help humanity.
Japhet who commended the General Overseer for gifting all members of the team plots for land for emerging champions of the Rivers State National League, added that the cleric has been a blessing.
