Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has donated an Ambulance to the Rivers State government, to assist in fight against COVID-19.
The Rivers State Commissioner of Health, Prof. Princewill Chike received the multimillion-naira Ambulance yesterday April 11, 2020, in Port Harcourt on behalf of the government.
The Apostle while giving out the gift said, the church will at all times do everything within its powers to assist the government in defeating the pandemic. Chibuzor stated that the donation was made possible from the tithes and offerings donated by members.
Prof. Chike in his remark thanked the Apostle for his benevolence, as he urged other agencies to emulate the kind gesture of the cleric. He maintained that the medical profession has been put on its toes by the virus, which currently has no cure.
He assured the people of the state that the Wike-led government is committed to ensuring the eradication of the virus from the state.
