The Executive Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Rt Hon (Dr) Enyiada Cookey-Gam , DSSRS, Balolo Of Opobo Kingdom sincerely sympathises with the immediate and extended family of a vibrant young man, LATE ALAFURO DODD PETERSIDE whose life was cut short by unprofessional conduct of a policeman right in front of his wife and children.
The council boss in his condolence message to his family said it was a sad day not just for the bereaved family, but also for the council and the entire LGA as a promising young man was abruptly eliminated in his prime.
Hon. COOKEY-GAM used the medium to appeal to relevant authorities to bring to book the trigger happy officer that perpetrated this dastardly act to serve as a deterrent to others against the killing of innocent souls.
He prayed for a peaceful rest of the departed soul and for God to graciously fill the created vacuum, Amen.
