Five Persons have been reported dead in the building collapse at Ochanja Market in Onitsha South Local Government Area of Anambra state.
According to Channels, five buildings under construction at the market collapsed on Monday evening, trapping several people under the rubble.
It also reported that twenty-six people have been rescued with five fatalities recorded.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has visited the scene of the incident and condoled with the victims of the mishap.
