Sacked CTC chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Chief, Tony Okocha has criticized Gov. Sim Fubara’s donation of 100 Operational Vehicles to the Police.
The Governor had on Tuesday, donated 100 vehicles to the State Police Command to help fight insecurity in the state.
Reacting, Okocha said while other governors were busy donating tractors to farmers and empowering their people to ease the economic hardship, all Gov. Fubara could do was donate what he described as rickety vehicles to the Police .
He accused the State Governor of spending the state’s money without appropriation.
He also said failure of the governor to present the state budget to the Martin Amaewhule-led Assembly shows that he is spending the state’s money illegally.
