The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obasek, who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC), has finally announced his defection to the People Democratic Party (PDP.)
Obaseki who was recently disqualified from contesting the governorship primaries of the party in a statement Today, revealed that his move was to enable him contest the upcoming governorship election in the state.
He said, “I have officially joined the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria to advance my ambition to seek re-election as Governor of Edo State.”
“I, as always, remain committed to engendering good governance and sustainable development of our dear state,” he asserted
